Nurses at Muhimbili National Hospital-Mloganzila have been commended for their creativity in providing health services, a move that contributes to improving patient care and increasing the efficiency of the hospital’s operations.
The commendations were given by the Director of Nursing and Midwifery Services in Tanzania, Ms. Ziada Sellah, during a ceremony to commend nurses held at the hospital where she explained that the creativity of nurses is an important driver of development in the health sector.
Ms. Sellah said that in addition to the creativity, nurses should continue to adhere to the ethics of their profession as well as the principles of the Public Service to ensure that they provide quality, safe and
Furthermore, she stressed the importance of working collaboratively among nurses and other health cadres, explaining that teamwork is the basis for providing quality services with positive outcomes for patients.
The Executive Director of Muhimbili National Hospital (MNH), Dr. Delilah Kimambo has encouraged nurses to continue to bring about positive changes in the Nursing and Midwifery sector by focusing on professionalism, creativity and dedication in their daily duties to continue improving health services in the country.
