WMA- Dodoma: Farmers, livestock keepers, fishermen, traders and citizens have continued to visit the Tanzania Measurement Agency (WMA) pavilion on the fifth day of the ongoing National Measurement Exhibition in Dodoma, receiving education on the importance of the correct use of measurements.
At the exhibition, citizens have been getting the opportunity to learn how to use and verify measurement equipment, as well as understand the consequences resulting from the use of incorrect measurements in the trade of seeds, inputs, milk, crops and other products.
WMA experts have been providing practical education and answering citizens’ questions about measurement verification procedures, a measure aimed at protecting the rights of farmers, traders and consumers.
WMA said it will continue to provide free education to citizens throughout the exhibition, with the aim of encouraging the use of accurate measurements to increase productivity and contribute to the implementation of the National Development Vision 2050.
The theme of the National Development Vision 2026 exhibition is: “Identify the Market; Increase Productivity to Implement Vision 2050”, he said
