The Torch of Freedom 2026 continues to be implemented in Dar es Salaam Region where on April 16, 2026 in Ubungo District, 7 development projects worth 19,214,407,774.81 were approved by the Torch of Freedom and no project was rejected.
In addition, in these projects, the Torch of Freedom has visited, inspected, laid the foundation stone and launched various development projects including the project of the Malumalu youth group in Msigani Ward, the construction of the Library and Auditorium at Barbro Johnson Secondary School and the construction of the Hondogo Shija road in Kibamba Ward.
Other projects are the construction of a dispensary in Msakuzi, the water project in Mbezi Msumi, the construction of a new secondary school in Muungano Goba and the clean energy project of the Moto Safi company.
The 2026 Independence Torch April 17, 2026 continues in Kinondoni District where it will inspect, lay the foundation stone and launch various development projects.
