Dodoma: Tanzania Electricity Corporation (TANESCO) continues to provide education to farmers and livestock keepers on the use of modern technologies that use electricity to enhance Agriculture, Fisheries and Livestock activities.
Among the technologies that are attracting the public is a chick hatching machine, which uses approximately 4 units of electricity per day and is capable of hatching more than 1,000 chicks.
The technology has become an attraction for citizens visiting the TANESCO pavilion at the NaneNane National and International Farmers Exhibition, NaneNane Nzuguni Fields, Dodoma.
Through these exhibitions, TANESCO continues to sensitize the public on how electrical technology can reduce costs, increase production, strengthen trade and stimulate sustainable development of the Nation.
