The President of the United Republic of Tanzania, Hon. Dr. Samia Suluhu Hassan has arrived at Vnukovo International Airport, located in Moscow for a National Visit, in Russia.
In this historic visit being made for the second time in the history of the relationship between Tanzania and Russia, the first was in the 1960s made by the father of the nation Mwalimu Julius Nyerere.
President, Dr. Samia is continuing a big campaign to ensure that Tanzania also benefits economically and has good relations with various countries
According to the activities that President Samia will do while he is here in the country with the aim of strengthening diplomatic, political, economic and historical relations between Tanzania and Russia.
The President has come to put Tanzania on the investment map for his participation in a large investment meeting in St. Petersburg and also to see how to create the human resources that the nation needs so much in achieving the implementation of the 2050 development vision.
When he arrived in the country at the Vnukovo International Airport, in Moscow at two hours and 25 minutes at night, even though the sun was still shining, the President, Dr. Samia Suluhu Hassan received the honor of the National Anthem along with the parade.
President, Dr. Samia was received in the field by the Minister of Economic Development of the Russian Federation Hon. Maxim Reshetnikov.
According to the schedule, this morning he will start by laying a wreath on the grave of an unknown soldier before going to the Kremlin Palace for talks with President Vladimir Putin.
