The working visit of the Prime Minister, Dr. Mwigulu Nchemba, who made Kilimanjaro at the end of February 2026, has continued to produce positive results for the people.
On his way to the public meeting, Dr. Mwigulu received complaints from farmers who claimed that their claims were not paid by the Central Cooperative Union of KNCU.
After listening to the complaints, the Prime Minister instructed the Registrar of Cooperative Societies to ensure that the demands of the farmers are paid on time.
The move has now borne fruit after Kilimanjaro Regional Commissioner, Mr. Nurdin Babu, confirmed that the Prime Minister’s instructions have been implemented and KNCU has paid its members more than 400 million shillings that were owed.
