Prime Minister arrives in Kenya

PRIME MINISTER, Dr. Mwigulu Nchemba, on May 10, 2026 has arrived in Nairobi, Kenya where he expects to represent the President of the United Republic of Tanzania, Dr. Samia Suluhu Hassan, at the Africa Forward: Africa–France Partnership for Innovation and Growth Summit to be held on May 11–12, 2026.

The aim of the summit is to continue strengthening cooperation between Africa and France in various sectors including trade, technology, energy, health, Artificial Intelligence (AI), agriculture, the blue economy and manufacturing.

The summit aims to promote new investments between African and French companies, build partnerships that are described as equitable, as well as discuss financial system reforms and sustainable development in Africa.

The summit of Heads of State and Government brings together development stakeholders, investors and the private sector and is organized in collaboration between the President of the Republic of Kenya, His Excellency William Ruto and the President of the French Republic, His Excellency Emmanuel Macron.
