The torch of Uhuru 2026 continues to be carried out in the region where in Kigamboni District 6 projects worth 19,425,732,411.80 have been reviewed and no project has been rejected by the torch.
In these projects, the torch of Uhuru 2026 has visited, inspected, laid the foundation stone and launched various development projects such as, the Suluhu and Planning youth group project dealing with the sanitation of the abilia, the construction of the Lingia road
Nyakwale at the level of asphalt and concrete 3.7 km, the Kigamboni water supply project Lot III, the construction of a house for staff at the Tundwi Songani health center, the construction of two classrooms, 10 toilet pits and a waste incinerator at Kibugumo Secondary School, and the construction of the Qualitas Hospital in Kigamboni.
The 2026 Independence Torch Relay, April 15, 2026 continues in Temeke District where it will inspect, lay the foundation stone and launch various development projects.
