The President of Zanzibar and Chairman of the Revolutionary Council, Alhaj Dr. Hussein Ali Mwinyi, has joined the Muslim faithful in the Friday Prayer held at the Mubarak Mazrui Mosque, located in Mombasa, West Urban Region on July 03, 2026.
Expressing his greetings to the faithful after the prayer, President Dr. Mwinyi has urged the Muslim faithful and the general public to continue to maintain peace, unity, love and solidarity, so that the Government can continue to implement various development projects to enhance the welfare of the people.
President Dr. Mwinyi has assured the citizens that the country is safe, a situation that enables the Government to implement its development plans and projects with great success while urging them to continue to support these efforts.
President Dr. Mwinyi has emphasized the importance of citizens being tolerant and forgiving, explaining that these principles are important in maintaining peace and stability in the country, as well as facilitating the implementation of various development projects, including the construction of infrastructure, strengthening the health sector, airports and sports.
President Dr. Mwinyi has continued his practice of joining Muslim believers in Friday prayers at various mosques in cities and villages.
