The Vice President of the United Republic of Tanzania, Hon. Ambassador Dr. Emmanuel Nchimbi has visited the Tanzania Electricity Corporation (TANESCO) pavilion at the peak of the World Environment Day Exhibition held in Dodoma.
Hon. Ambassador Dr. Nchimbi has visited the pavilion on June 5, 2026 where he had the opportunity to be explained various projects implemented by the organization including the use of Clean Energy for cooking with electricity and environmental protection at sources of electricity production.
Giving information to, Ambassador Dr. Nchimbi Head of the Environment Unit of the Ministry of Energy Emmilian Nyanda explained that TANESCO has been making great efforts to provide education on the importance of Clean Energy for cooking with electricity with the aim of ensuring that every citizen participates in the issue of environmental protection.
The annual environmental exhibition 2026 had the slogan Vision 2050, Let’s Take Responsibility for Greening Tanzania.
