Manager of the Department of Internal Taxes of the Tanzania Revenue Authority (TRA) Zanzibar, Mr. Rashid Herith, has thanked and asked the tax advisors to continue helping the Authority by giving the right advice to taxpayers to achieve the revenue goals in the country.
Speaking on May 07, 2026 in the hall of TRA Zanzibar, Mr. Herith said that tax advisors are important stakeholders who help increase understanding of tax issues and facilitate voluntary tax payment.
In that meeting, Mr. Herith has provided education and reminded the consultants about the importance of supporting each other with TRA in ensuring that the laws are observed and taxpayers’ information is submitted correctly and on time.
He emphasized that the professional help provided by the consultants helps to reduce conflicts and bring efficiency in the tax system.
For their part, tax advisors have expressed their willingness to continue to support the TRA by providing education and proper guidelines to their clients to support the effectiveness of revenue collections for the well-being of our nation.
