Nurses of Amana Regional Referral Hospital, May 06 2026 have joined their colleagues to celebrate World Nurses Day, Dar es Salaam held in Kigamboni District.
Reading a speech on behalf of the Dar es Salaam Regional Commissioner, the Kigamboni District Commissioner, Hon. Dalmia Mikaya, has commended nurses for continuing to provide quality services despite the challenges they face in the work environment.
“Nurses are a very important element in the health system without your presence, many medical services could not be carried out with the expected efficiency,” said Hon. Mikaya.
He said the Government continues to value the contribution of nurses to improve their work environment so that they can carry out their duties more professionally.
The celebrations are part of recognizing the great work done by nurses, as well as discussing the best way to develop the profession.
