The Minister of Constitution and Law, Dr. Juma Zuberi Homera, has said the Government is in the process of making improvements to various laws to align with the goals of National Vision 2050.
Dr. Homera made the statement while opening the Meeting of the Attorney General’s Office and the Attorney General’s Office Staff held on April 28, 2026 in Arusha.
“I would like to congratulate the Hon. Attorney General for a good start and now we are going to amend various laws so that they are in line with the goals of achieving Vision 2050”, he said.
Speaking at the meeting, the Minister of Constitution and Law explained that it is important for the employees of the Attorney General’s Office to continue to develop professionally and knowledgeably so that they can advise the Government well and boost the National economy.
“I would like to advise you to continue to develop professionally and knowledgeably so that you can advise our Nation well, especially on which laws should be enacted and amended to effectively stimulate economic growth and real development for all citizens”, said Dr. Homera
Dr. Homera congratulated the Attorney General, the Deputy Attorney General and the Office Management for improving the working environment for the employees of the Attorney General’s Office.
“I would like to thank the Hon. President for re-appointing you as the Attorney General. You are doing justice to the position. I would also like to congratulate the Hon. Attorney General and your team for the major improvements you have made in this Office.” Said Hon. Dr. Homera.
The Attorney General, Hon. Hamza S. Johari, speaking earlier before welcoming the Guest of Honour, said that in order to achieve the goals of Vision 2050, it is important for the Attorney General’s Office staff to accelerate the improvement of various laws.
“When our other colleagues come, they will find that we have already aligned our laws with the goals of Vision 2050 by making them friendly and enabling,” he said
