President of Zanzibar and Chairman of the Revolutionary Council, Alhaj Dr. Hussein Ali Mwinyi has said that Zanzibar has peace, unity, solidarity and stability as well as continuing with progressive activities and worship.
President Dr. Mwinyi said this when he joined with members of the Islamic religion in the Friday prayer service and opened the three-day International Tabligh Markaz Magome seminar in Chakechake District, South Pemba Region yesterday.
He has asked the believers to continue to pray to God to maintain peace, love, unity and solidarity and to call on them to teach children religious knowledge so that they have the fear of God by refraining from the use of drugs, theft, waste of public property and acts of humiliation and He has praised the Office of the Grand Mufti of Zanzibar for properly coordinating religious activities for stability, peace and solidarity.
