Experts from the Muhimbili Orthopedic Institute (MOI) have conducted a strategic visit to the Muhimbili National Hospital (MNH) Upanga and Mloganzila with the aim of learning about the hospital’s experience in providing specialist and non-specialist services.
Speaking during the visit, the Acting Managing Director of MNH, Dr. Julieth Magandi said the visit aimed to learn about the use of modern technologies, innovation and improvement of infrastructure in providing health services and exchanging experiences while the panel had the opportunity to learn about various digital systems used by MNH to improve services.
Meanwhile, the Director of Orthopedic Services MOI, Dr. Antony Assei commended MNH for the technological revolution and infrastructure improvement.
He noted that the training they received will help significantly improve the performance of their institution.
The experts had the opportunity to visit and see the Queue Management System, Clinical Dashboard, Online Appointment System and modern patient monitoring and examination systems that use Artificial Intelligence (AI).
