The construction of Msalato International Airport, Dodoma is among the strategic projects aimed at strengthening air transport and opening up Dodoma further to trade, investment and tourism.
Recognizing the importance of this strategic project, Student Government leaders from various universities in Dar Es Salaam Region have visited the project and witnessed its implementation.

•Lot 1 value: approximately Sh 165.6 billion
•Lot 2 value: approximately Sh 194.4 billion
- Total Lot 1 & 2: approximately Sh 360 billion
- Runway: 3.6 km, 4E level
- Terminal capacity: approximately 1.5 million passengers per year
- The airport is designed to handle large passenger and cargo aircraft.
