Muhimbili National Hospital-Mloganzila continues to improve health services by investing in infrastructure, modern medical equipment and the use of advanced technology, a move aimed at increasing the quality of care and patient safety.
Among the technologies used at the hospital is the Dozee device, which monitors the patient’s condition while lying in bed.
Speaking about the use of the device, the Chief Nurse for Emergency, Accident and Critical Care, Ms. Nyakanda Marwa said that so far 32 beds at the hospital have been equipped with the Dozee system for patients who are forced to stay in bed for a long time.
“This device captures and transmits in real time important health indicators such as heart rate, respiratory rate and sleep quality, while providing early warning in case of changes that require immediate attention”, said Ms. Marwa
