The Chief Executive Officer of the Tanzania Measurement Agency (WMA), Mr. Alban Kihulla, has sent a message of gratitude and congratulations to the Agency’s employees on the occasion of May Day, 2026.
In the letter, the Chief Executive described May Day as part of recognizing the great contribution of these employees in building a strong economy through the correct use of internationally accepted measurements.
“I am proud of your dedication, integrity, and professionalism that you demonstrate every day in the verification and inspection of Measurements as well as the inspection of packaged goods. Your work has a great contribution to strengthening fair trade, increasing consumer confidence, and promoting the development of our nation”, he said
He added that in this period of technological change and growth of various sectors, he is more than obliged to congratulate them for continuing to learn, improve efficiency and adapt to new work requirements.
He stressed on them to continue to stick together, maintain work discipline, and adhere to the values ​​of public service.
Mr. Kiulla has made it clear that the Agency’s leadership recognizes and appreciates the contribution of employees, and will continue to improve the working environment to enable them to carry out their duties more effectively.
