The Uhuru Torch 2026 has begun to be run in Dar es Salaam Region in Ilala District, 7 projects worth 52,088,900,245.72 have been approved and the Torch of Freedom has not rejected any project.
In these projects, the Uhuru Torch has visited, inspected, laid the foundation stone and launched various development projects including the construction of the DDC Kariakoo economic investment and the construction of a tar road in Lindi on April 13, 2026.
Others are the construction of the Ilala Kota well, the construction of the Mchikichini health center, the construction of a new secondary school on the railway line, the construction of the Bonyokwa police station and the Fighter youth group who are engaged in the transportation of passengers using motorcycles.
The 2026 Uhuru Torch today, April 14, continues in Kigamboni District where you will visit, inspect, lay the foundation stone and launch various development projects.
