Citizens of Kisarawe and surrounding areas have continued to turn out in large numbers to receive specialist eye care services provided by Specialist Doctors at Muhimbili National Hospital (MNH) – Mloganzila in collaboration with the Vision Care Institute.
According to Specialist Eye Doctor, Dr. Audrey Mwashilemo, the camp has had a great response, indicating the need for such services, especially in rural areas.
She said that through the camp, citizens have been provided with diagnostic services, medicines, glasses and some have undergone cataract surgery free of charge.
For their part, citizens have thanked Muhimbili National Hospital-Mloganzila for sending the experts and helping them save time and travel costs to Muhimbili.
