In continuing to strengthen child health services in the country, the Benjamin Mkapa Foundation (BMF) in collaboration with Miracle Feet, has visited MNH – Mloganzila with the aim of establishing a partnership to provide medical services to children born with clubfoot.
It has been stated that the new specialist and specialist service will begin to be provided for the first time at the hospital soon after all its procedures are completed.
The establishment of the service aims to reduce the challenges faced by children who are brought to the hospital with various health problems, including clubfoot and neurological challenges, by ensuring that they receive early, appropriate and international standard treatment.
Through this partnership, MNH–Mloganzila is expected to become an important referral center for clubfoot treatment services in the country.
These efforts are a continuation of the national foot and ankle treatment program implemented by BMF and Miracle Feet in collaboration with the Ministry of Health and the Prime Minister’s Office – RALGM.
