The Kariakoo Markets Corporation, in strengthening fire and rescue operations in the areas of Kariakoo, has provided the Ilala Regional Fire and Rescue Service with an office and a parking area for their activities to reduce inconvenience to the people of those areas when fire disasters occur.
That was said by the General Manager of the Kariakoo CPA Marketing Agency. Ashraph Abdulkarim when he met with the leadership of the Fire and Rescue Service of Ilala Region with the aim of discussing various areas of cooperation between the two institutions.
CPA. Abdulkarim added that cooperation between these institutions is important because it will enable the Kariakoo Market and the community surrounding the market to be safe, and to do business without any worries and continue to contribute to the national economy.
Ilala Regional Fire and Rescue Commanders, SACP. Peter Mabusi has said that the Army will cooperate with the Kariakoo Marketing Organization by providing education to businessmen and employees of the organization, to conduct an inspection of fire extinguishing systems to enable them to deal with disasters as they arise.
It should be noted that the Kariakoo Markets Corporation has been donating water from the existing wells in the Kariakoo Market where until now it has provided more than 134,800 cubic liters which have been used to control fire incidents in Kariakoo areas for the period of September 2025 until now.
