Dermatologist warns against prolonged use of 3-IN-1 Skin Creams

Dermato-Venereologist and Medical Aesthetician Dr. Durenayab Khatry has cautioned against prolonged and unsupervised use of 3-in-1 creams, which commonly combine a potent corticosteroid, an antifungal and an antibiotic.

Misuse can lead to skin thinning, acne, pigmentation changes, visible blood vessels, irritation and rebound flare-ups.

These combinations may also mask fungal infections and contribute to inappropriate antibiotic exposure. Dr. Khatry emphasizes that such creams should not be used routinely for skin lightening or as a universal treatment for rashes.

They should only be used when medically indicated, for an appropriate duration and under professional supervision.
