Citizens and traders of Mandela Market in Sumbawanga District, Rukwa Region have commended the swift implementation of Prime Minister Dr. Mwigulu Nchemba’s orders to ban the sale of all crops through the lumbesa method and now a measurement system is being used.
While visiting Rukwa Region in March, the Prime Minister gave instructions to ensure that farmers and traders are not oppressed or have their crops stolen through fraudulent measurements, which has been implemented and they have now begun to see the benefits of their power in the fields.
