Speaking at the pavilion, Hon. Kagilwa commended TANESCO for the great efforts they are making in environmental protection, especially in continuing to encourage citizens to cook using clean electricity, which helps reduce environmental damage.

He used the opportunity to emphasize that TANESCO should continue to plant trees in large numbers at sources of electricity production in order to continue to protect the environment.

“I would like to commend TANESCO for continuing to promote environmental protection, especially through Clean Energy for cooking with electricity, and I would also like to urge them to increase efforts to plant trees at sources of electricity production”, he said.

He said that TANESCO’s participation in the exhibition was supported by the Dodoma Regional Customer Relations and Service Officer, Mr. James Vesso, who said the aim was to promote the use of Clean Energy for cooking with electricity, which helps save time and protect the environment.

“We, as TANESCO, continue to promote the importance of using Clean Energy for cooking with electricity to protect the environment, as well as explaining the Corporation’s strategies for environmental protection in the implementation of various electricity projects”, he said.
