The Tanzania Revenue Authority (TRA) has congratulated Ms. Leah Mwamba for being elected as the Chairperson of the National Association of Office Administrators (TAPSEA) while noting that she has accepted the responsibility given to her with great respect and has promised to work hard and cooperate to promote TRA.
Speaking on behalf of the TRA Management, on May 26, 2026 at a short ceremony to congratulate the Chairperson of TAPSEA National, Ms. Leah Mwamba, the Director of Human Resources and Administration, Mr. Moshi Kabengwe, said on behalf of the management they congratulate her for being elected to the position.
He said her victory is the result of good work, discipline and professionalism she has shown among TAPSEA members and employees in general.
“We believe that her election will bring great benefits to the party, promote cooperation and make TAPSEA continue to be a strong link and take more steps than it was before,” said Mr. Kabengwe.
He said TRA wishes him all the best in his new responsibilities and believes that he will use the leadership he has received well for the benefit of the party and its members.
He added that the primary function of TRA is tax collection, so they believe that Leah will be a good ambassador for the institution and will continue to strengthen cooperation between the party and the Authority.
Ms. Leah said that she accepts the responsibility given to her with great respect and has promised to work hard and cooperate with her TRA colleagues and the whole of Tanzania.
“I promise to work with great cooperation to ensure that TAPSEA continues to grow, but more importantly, I will protect, maintain and honor TAPSEA together with TRA,” she explained.
She thanked TRA for the cooperation they provided at the meeting where the institution also received an award for leading by sending the most members.
Ms. Leah encouraged members to continue to cooperate to build a stronger and more beneficial TAPSEA for its members and the institution in general.
