The Head of the Road Safety Unit in Arusha Region, Assistant Commissioner of Police (ACP) Zauda Mohamed has asked owners and drivers of motor vehicles providing public transport services in the region to sit with the relevant authorities, including the Police Force, to end the strike and continue providing services.
The move comes after service providers in the city on May 25, 2026, went on strike demanding that they not be given information on fines levied by the Land Transport and Regulatory Authority [LATRA].
