DAR ES SALAAM — Latricia Ian has been declared the winner of the Miss World Tanzania 2026 title, having been selected and will now represent Tanzania in the international Miss World competition.
Latricia, who is a Client Manager, has been cited for her leadership, strategic communication and commitment to bringing about positive change in society, focusing on combining beauty with social responsibility through her Nuru ya Elimu project that aims to empower young people through education.
In the results, Nouru Masoud has taken first place and second place (1st Runner-Up), followed by Paulina Allute (2nd Runner-Up), Silya Mussa (3rd Runner-Up) and Dian Rutagalinda (4th Runner-Up).
Throughout her journey, she has shown her commitment to community service, emphasizing the importance of education as a tool to break the cycle of poverty and empower young people to achieve their dreams.

With the victory, she will represent Tanzania in the 75th anniversary of the Miss World competition to be held in Vietnam in September this year.
Her victory has been described as a symbol of the combination of beauty, intelligence and determination to bring about positive change in society.
