Uhuru Torch passes eight projects in Temeke

The Uhuru Torch has continued to be carried in Dar es Salaam Region in Temeke District on April 15, 2026, making it the third District to carry the Uhuru Torch in the Region.

The Uhuru Torch in the district has passed eight projects worth Tsh 13,664,218,741.

The project is the Home City Economic Investment in Chang’ombe County, the construction of the 1.07Km Mwakalinga Road in Chang’ombe County, the 0-28 day care project at the Yombo Vituka Health Center.

The Makangarawe County Water Extraction and Distribution Project, the Toangoma County Police Station Construction, the Construction of a 4-storey Kibonde Maji Secondary School, the Anti-Corruption Club Launch Project and finally the Bricklaying Project (Fevmaz Hero Group) in Chamazi County.

The Torch Relay, April 16, 2026 continues to be run in Ubungo District, Dar es Salaam Region where it will inspect, lay the foundation stone and launch various development projects
