The Minister of Energy visits Shinyanga
Minister of Energy, Hon. Deogratius Ndejembi (Mr., has arrived in Shinyanga region for a business visit and was received by Shinyanga Regional Commissioner, Hon. Mboni Mhita on July 27, 2026.
While in the region, Minister Ndejembi will lead the leaders and citizens of Shinyanga Region to witness the signing of the implementation project for the construction of a solar power station with a capacity of 100 Megawatts, the second phase, in the Ngunga area, Kishapu district in Shinyanga region.
The Minister was accompanied by the Secretary General of the Ministry of Energy dealing with Electricity and Renewable Energy, Engineer Felchesmi Mramba, Chairman of the Parliamentary Standing Committee on Energy and Minerals, Hon. Subira Mgalu (Mr.), along with the Vice Chairman of the Committee, Hon. Simon Songe Lusengekile.
