The Minister of Finance, Ambassador Khamis Mussa Omar (Mb), has met and held talks with the British Ambassador Mrs. Marianne Young and the Swedish Ambassador to Tanzania Mr. Charlotta Ozaki Macias at the Sub-Offices of the Ministry of Finance, in Dar es Salaam.
During the talks, the Minister stressed the commitment of the Government of the United Republic of Tanzania to continue collaborating with development partners in strengthening various sectors, especially those that directly affect the lives of citizens.
He noted that country-to-country cooperation is a catalyst for the success of development projects and increasing socio-economic well-being.
Ambassador Omar, said the Government will continue to carry out its activities with transparency and accountability in the implementation of development projects, while assuring development partners that Tanzania is ready to cooperate sincerely to achieve common goals.
The British and Swedish Ambassadors stated that their countries value their long-standing relationship with Tanzania and will continue to cooperate in various fields of development.
The session was attended by the Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Finance, Dr. Natu El-Maamry Mwamba, Deputy Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Finance, Ms. Amina Khamis Shaaban, Assistant Commissioner, Department of Foreign Finance, Ministry of Finance Mr. Melckzedeck Mbise and Delegates from the British and Swedish Embassies.
