Staff at Muhimbili National Hospital – Mloganzila have been given special training to build their capacity to use the electronic system for requesting and managing leave known as E-Leave, as part of improvements to the hospital’s human resources management and administration systems.
The Assistant Director of Human Resources and Administration at MNH–Mloganzila, Mr. Abdallah Kiwanga, has urged all staff to use the system properly, as it has been established to simplify leave application procedures, increase transparency, strengthen accountability and reduce challenges that were arising in the use of the previous paper application system.
He explained that the changes are part of the digital transformation process aimed at improving service delivery, and that from now on, paper leave applications will no longer be used, so he has urged all staff to learn, understand and start using the system fully to avoid delays, administrative errors and impacts on the continuity of hospital operations.
Mr. Kiwanga added that the main objective of the training is to ensure that every employee has sufficient understanding of how to submit leave applications correctly, track them and manage them electronically, which will contribute to enhancing the efficiency of work and human resource discipline in the hospital.
For their part, the participants of the training have expressed their satisfaction with the move, noting that the E-Leave system will simplify work and increase transparency in the entire leave application process.
Muhimbili National Hospital – Mloganzila continues to invest in internal training and the use of modern technologies to improve administrative systems, increase staff productivity and ultimately ensure that patients receive quality, safe and high-quality services.
