Muhimbili National Hospital – Mloganzila has begun a special hip and knee transplant camp for patients with hip and knee disease challenges, where the camp is being held in collaboration with the Specialist in Hip and Knee Transplantation, Prof. Mamoun Gadir from the Queen Elizabeth Hospital in the United Kingdom.
The camp will be held for five days from December 01 to 05, 2025, so those who will benefit from the camp are patients with severe hip and knee fractures and those who, after previous hip transplants, have suffered a recurrence of their hip fractures.
The treatment is a continuation of the Government’s strategy to ensure that specialist and specialist services are available in the country to reduce the inconvenience for citizens seeking treatment abroad.
