UK to invest in tourism attraction conservation sector

Big British tourism agents are in the country to visit various parks to see tourism attractions and investment opportunities with the aim of selling the country to the European market.

The head of the agents, Mrs. Debbie Mayger and her delegation arrived in the Ngorongoro Conservation Area on November 29, 2025, she said they came to Tanzania to visit the park to see the wealth of tourist attractions, cultural heritage, wildlife species, manthari and natural conservation, beaches in marine reserves and Tanzanian customs and traditions.

“We have been hearing a lot about Tanzania, we have a large tourist market in European countries and they are interested in wildlife tourism, the Ngorongoro Crater, the world heritage site in Ngorongoro, the Ngorongoro Lengai Geopark, the culture within the park, the care and conservation of the environment, hospitality and the peace that exists, this tour will give us more evidence to sell Tanzania and we expect to continue to get more visitors from the European market”, said Mayger

Receiving the visit, the Chief Conservation Officer Marketing of the NCAA, Mr. Michael Makombe said that the introduction of these visitors is an effort by the Government, through the Ministry of Natural Resources, conservation institutions and tourism stakeholders where the aim of coming to Ngorongoro is to see the attractions and advertise them and influence their countries to continue to bring visitors to visit the attractions of wildlife tourism, culture, environment, local cuisine and various histories.

The agents, who are with the Shades of Green tourism company, have already visited Tarangire National Park, the Ngorongoro Conservation Area and will then visit the Serengeti National Park and other areas.
