THE PRIME MINISTER, Dr. Mwigulu Nchemba, will on November 26, 2025, open the Sustainable Land Transport Week 2025 celebrations taking place at the Julius Nyerere International Conference Centre, in Dar es Salaam.
The objectives of the celebrations include strengthening the safety and delivery of land transport services by promoting safe, integrated and sustainable land transport systems by road and rail.
The celebrations also aim to promote fair competition and quality of services in land transport by ensuring that operators provide affordable, reliable and innovative services under a strong LATRA regulatory framework.
The theme of the celebrations is “Clean Energy and Innovation in Transport”.
