THE MINISTER of State, Prime Minister’s Office – Labour, Youth, Employment and Persons with Disabilities, Mr. Ridhiwani Kikwete has arrived in Mbeya region to inspect and oversee preparations for the Closing Ceremony of the Independence Torch Relay.
The race will conclude in Mbeya region before concluding with a variety of job fairs and services during Youth Week followed by a major conference that will bring together more than 1,500 youth, which is expected to be held in Mbeya.
The Youth Week Fair began on October 08, 2025 and concluded on October 14, 2025 with a Youth Conference whose guest of honor is expected to be the Prime Minister of the United Republic of Tanzania, Mr. Kassim Majaliwa Majaliwa, .
All activities will conclude with the culmination ceremonies of the 2025 Independence Torch where the guest of honor is expected to be, the President of the United Republic of Tanzania, Dr. Samia Suluhu Hassan.
During the visit, Mr. Ridhiwani has had the opportunity to inspect the preparations for all these activities and meet with the citizens, greet them and invite them to come and participate in all these activities.
