The parliamentary candidate for Kibamba constituency on the Chama Cha Mapinduzi [CCM] ticket, Mrs. Angela Kairuki has campaigned for parliamentary elections using a new method that many citizens have enjoyed. Instead of her addressing them, she has let the citizens speak where many citizens expressed their concerns. The campaigns have been named ‘Mtaa kwa Mtaa’.
Mrs. Kairuki campaigned on September 21, 2025 at the Pink Friday hall in Kibamba CCM where many citizens were given the opportunity to speak and then Mrs. Kairuki was the last to speak in response to the concerns that were presented by the citizens.
Some of the citizens who were given the opportunity to speak asked Mrs. Kairuki if elected and became the Kibamba MP to address their concerns that have been persistent for a long time.
The concerns that were presented include the land dispute that exists in ‘Mji Mwema’, Kwembe Ward despite reaching the district office but has not been resolved. Another annoyance is that residents of ‘Mji Mwema’ lack schools and dispensaries despite the fact that the District Commissioner and Director of their offices are in ‘Mji Mwema’.
Other annoyances are that residents of Kibamba do not have a market and ‘Mamalishe’ do not have a place to do business, so they have asked Mrs. Kairuki to pray for them to get a place in the TANRoad reserve because there are traders who should give them those places.
“Your Honor, why are oil traders given and built petrol stations, why can’t we get a market area and ‘Mamalishe’ to do our economic activities?”, asked a citizen while other citizens cheered and applauded him.
Another annoyance is the confusion in the Mloganzila area where there is an area that is not known whether it is in Kisarawe or Ubungo. Another annoyance is health insurance, a sports field for young people, as well as the bureaucracy involved in obtaining loans.
Responding to these annoyances, Mrs. Kairuki said that if elected, he will ensure that he closely monitors the land dispute to find a permanent solution. Regarding the territorial dispute between Ubungo and Kisarawe Districts, he said that he will bring the leaders of those districts together but the people of those areas will also be questioned to say what they want.
Regarding loans, Mrs. Kairuki said that if elected, she will call credit institutions to come to Kibamba and provide low-interest loans. She also urged the people to take advantage of the 10% loan opportunities that are provided by the government online.
However, Mrs. Kairuki said that she has heard all the complaints so if elected, she will address them one by one. They have asked the people of Kibamba to vote heavily for the CCM party and all its candidates.
