Muhimbili National Hospital-Mloganzila has said it will continue to collaborate with Vision Care Tanzania Foundation to improve eye care services to reduce preventable blindness.
The statement was made by the Assistant Director of Surgical Services at MNH-Mloganzila, Dr. Godlove Mfuko when he met and held discussions with the institution from South Korea.
Dr. Mfuko said the institution has had a long-standing partnership that has focused on building the capacity of experts, supporting eye care equipment and financing eye care services with the aim of helping citizens, especially in the Coast region.
The founder and Chairman of the institution, Mr. Kim Donghae, said the institution will continue to collaborate with the hospital and expects to organize a special eye camp in June, 2026 as an effort to bring eye care services closer to the citizens.
Muhimbili National Hospital–Mloganzila offers comprehensive eye examination and treatment services including surgery and eyeglass manufacturing. Its clinics are Monday to Friday from 2:00 AM to 11:00 PM.
