The President of Zanzibar and Chairman of the Revolutionary Council, Dr. Hussein Ali Mwinyi, has met with the Leadership of the Miss World Company, led by its Chairman and Director General, Ms. Julia Evelyn Morley and the Winner of Miss World 2025, Ms. Opal Suchata Chuangsri from Thailand and Miss World Africa, Ms. Hasset Dereje Admassu from Ethiopia.
The talks were held at the State House in Zanzibar, July 21, 2025, both parties have agreed to cooperate in promoting the tourism sector in Zanzibar.
The meeting was also attended by the Executive Secretary and Secretary of the Revolutionary Council of Zanzibar, Engineer Zena Ahmed Said, the Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Tourism and Antiquities, Dr. Aboud Jumbe, the Deputy Permanent Secretary of the Ministry, Dr. Amina Hassan Ameir and the Executive Secretary of the Zanzibar Tourism Commission, Arif Abbas Manji.
