Graduates of the special training to care for patients who need special care at the Muhimbili National Hospital Mloganzila have been asked to use the skills and knowledge they gained to serve the public to continue improving the health services available in their areas.
The statement was made by the Assistant Director of Medical Services at MNH-Mloganzila, Dr. Elineema Meda while concluding a one-month training coordinated by the Research and Professional Advisory Unit at the hospital.
“The government has made sufficient efforts to improve health services in the country, so it is the responsibility of service providers to be creative and share experiences, when you receive training, when you return, involve your colleagues in your service area so that together you can provide better services to our fellow Tanzanians regardless of where they are”, said Dr. Meda
Head of the Research, Training and Professional Advisory Unit, Dr. Mwanaidi Amiri said the hospital will continue to collaborate with its experts and other stakeholders to initiate various trainings with the aim of continuously improving services for Tanzanians.
Head of the Department of Physiotherapy and Rehabilitation PT. Patrick Foster said the training included theory and practice and the graduates conducted various experiments and succeeded, they will be important ambassadors as their performance will change.
PT. Renalda Massawe, a graduate from Songea Regional Referral Hospital has commended the leadership of MNH Mloganzila Hospital for designing and providing the training as it is of great benefit to service providers especially during this period when there is a change in the demand for services.
