The Mining Commission has continued to advertise various investment opportunities in the mining sector through its participation in the ongoing Public Service Week Celebrations held at Chinangali Parks, Dodoma.
Speaking while educating citizens who visited the Mining Commission pavilion, an Officer from the Directorate of Mines and Environmental Inspection, Mr. Ashen Mwambage, said that the mining sector in the country is full of numerous opportunities including exploration and extraction of minerals, establishment of value-added industries, mining trade, as well as the supply of equipment and services to mines.
“The Mining Commission welcomes local and foreign investors to partner with us in developing this sector by participating in various areas including joint ventures in some mining licenses”, said Mwambage.
He has used the opportunity of the exhibition to encourage the community to come forward to obtain education about the mining sector as well as to understand how to fully participate in activities that stimulate the development of the national economy through mineral resources.
The Minerals Commission has been at the forefront of strengthening the management and development of the country’s mining sector while striving to attract more investors to stimulate national income growth and improve the lives of citizens.
