The Heavenly Culture, World Peace, Restoration of Light (HWPL) Tanzania branch has said it is in the process of organizing a commemorative ceremony to mark the HWPL’s 12th Annual Commemoration of the Declaration of World Peace in Tanzania
Speaking to ‘Upendo News Portal’ yesterday in Dar es Salaam, the Manager of HWPL Tanzania branch, Dr. Erick Martin said the celebrations are usually held every May 25 but they have decided to hold them on May 24, 2025.
Dr. Erick said this year they expect to hold the celebrations at Ardhi University in Dar es Salaam and added that to make the day more enjoyable, they have arranged for doctors who will examine participants’ health for free.
He said there will be a camp of doctors from Kairuki Hospital in Dar es Salaam and that they will start providing Klinick services by testing participants for their health such as weight, BP, Blood, Sugar and many others and added that the camp will start from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM (Tanzania local time).

He said the guest of honor will be introduced soon and that there are many guests from inside and outside Tanzania who have been invited to the event so he used the opportunity to welcome all citizens as there will be no entry fee.
Dr. Erick said HWPL collaborates with various affiliated organizations and departments to hold numerous events annually. These include partner organizations such as the International Peace Youth Group (IPYG), which focuses on youth participation in peacebuilding, and the International Women’s Peace Group (IWPG), which engages women in global peace initiatives. In addition, HWPL operates internal departments such as the WARP Office for interfaith dialogue, the Education Department of Love, the Legal Affairs Department supporting the DPCW, and the Press Department.
He urged Tanzanians to support the efforts made by HWPL as they have managed to bring peace and eliminate war so in Tanzania we have been fortunate enough for HWPL to open a branch so that we too can find peace and avoid war issues.
“I ask people to come in large numbers because during the celebrations various activities will be held including teachings and speeches by leaders as well as an official guest”, said Dr. Erick
