The Ngorongoro Conservation Area Authority (NCAA) Conservation Commissioner Dr. Elirehema Doriye on May 05, 2025, together with the Authority’s Management, took an oath of integrity for public leaders at a ceremony held at the NCAA offices in Arusha.
Speaking after the oath, Dr. Doriye explained that the NCAA management demonstrates a shared commitment to ethics, responsibility and integrity in carrying out the responsibilities of conservation, tourism, community development and the unique natural and cultural heritage in the Ngorongoro Conservation Area for the benefit of present and future generations.
The oath was led by the Assistant Secretary, Office of the President, Secretariat for Ethics of Public Leaders, Northern Region, Mr. Gerald Mwaitebele who said the oath of ethics for public leaders is carried out in accordance with the Public Leaders’ Ethics Act No. 13 of 1995.
He said the Ethics Secretariat has the responsibility to promote and manage the Ethics of Public Leaders in the country to ensure that Public Leaders have ethical behavior and conduct.
The oath of integrity for public leaders by the NCAA management has gone hand in hand with the provision of various trainings that aim to educate these leaders on the Ethics guidelines for public leaders in order to improve the performance of the NCAA Management based on the principles of accountability, integrity and good leadership.
