The President of Zanzibar and Chairman of the Revolutionary Council, Dr. Hussein Ali Mwinyi, has met with the leadership of LIAONING FANGDA GROUP OF COMPANIES from China, led by its Chairman, Mr. Ao Xinhua after visiting the State House.
President Dr. Mwinyi met with the leadership on March 26, 2026 to commend the company for showing its sincere commitment to collaborating with Zanzibar in various investment sectors and assured them of high-level cooperation.
President Dr. Mwinyi said Zanzibar has sustainable plans to strengthen the aviation sector due to its position as a tourism hub and noted that there are still many opportunities for investors to collaborate with Zanzibar to invest in the sector.
At the same time, President Dr. Mwinyi has met with the Zanzibar Business and Property Registration Agency (BPRA) led by the Executive Director, Mr. Khamis Juma Khamis.
The delegation was accompanied by experts in digital systems technology from the German Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ), which is collaborating with BPRA Zanzibar in strengthening and reforming registration systems as well as providing digital services.
