The Deputy Minister of Finance, Mr. Laurent Luswetula (MP), on behalf of the Minister of Finance, Ambassador Khamis Mussa Omar (MP), has met and held talks with a delegation from PLASCO Company, which is involved in the production of plastic pipes used in water and gas infrastructure.
The head of the delegation, who is also the General Manager of the Company, Mr. Dario Manlubatanan, discussed the contribution of the industrial sector in growing the country’s economy.
During the visit, they were accompanied by his Marketing Manager, Ms. Edith James at the Sub-Offices of the Ministry of Finance, located in Dar es Salaam.
Mr. Luswetula promised that the Government will continue to collaborate with the private sector to address various challenges and continue to create a friendly environment for doing business and investment in order to promote the development of the country’s economy.
On the part of Plasco Company, the General Manager of the Company, Mr. Dario Manlubatan, expressed their willingness to collaborate with the Government in strategic projects including bringing innovation and expertise that will help strengthen the infrastructure of water projects and increase productivity in the provision of services to the community.
