Speaking, the Commissioner General, Mr. Mwenda said TRA values all taxpayers who follow tax laws and will continue to listen to them and facilitate their businesses.

He said TCB is among the good taxpayers who facilitate the businesses of other taxpayers through the financial services they provide which provide them with business capital and thus pay taxes.

“We TRA, among the tasks we do is to facilitate business and you also do the same, we will continue to provide cooperation to you and other taxpayers who follow tax laws by paying taxes voluntarily”, said Commissioner General Mwenda.

For his part, the Director General of TCB Mr. Adam Mihayo said that during this period the bank’s profits have been increasing, which also increases their contribution to tax payment.

He said they plan to focus on working with small-scale manufacturers, which he sees will help them to grow those industries and enable them to produce more and pay taxes, noting that they have been paying taxes voluntarily.
