Africa Border Security Week to be held in June 2026

South Africa’s KGG Events has moved the date of the Africa Border Security Week to June 2026 in Cape Town, South Africa, while the West Africa Border Security Week remains unchanged.

A statement issued by KGG Events’ Programme Manager, Ms. Musa Qokolo and circulated to the media this week stated that the Africa Border Security Week will be held on June 2-3, 2026 at the Cape Town Marriott Hotel Crystal Towers, Cape Town, South Africa instead of May 26-27, 2026.

The statement, which was circulated via email, said the other West Africa Border Security Week meeting itself has remained unchanged, remaining on August 12-13, 2026 and the venue is the same, Labadi Beach Hotel, Accra, Ghana.

The statement continued to say that due to the changes that were beyond its control, it apologized to all parties and wanted to prepare for the date and those who have not registered should do so as there is still time.

However, KGG Events has asked the media that will be lucky enough to participate to be asked to do Pre-Event Promotion, Publish at least 2-3 announcements/articles about the event on your, platform, List the event on your calendar of events, Include the event banner in at least one e-newsletter (if applicable), Event Coverage, Post-Event Coverage and Publish a summary or feature about the event outcomes.
