The President of the United Republic of Tanzania, Dr. Samia Suluhu Hassan, expects to speak to elders of Dar es Salaam Region on December 02, 2025 where he will also use the meeting to address the Nation on various issues concerning the Nation
Speaking in Dar es Salaam with journalists, the Regional Commissioner, Mr. Albert Chalamila said that the move by President, Dr. Samia to speak to elders of the Region and address the Nation is in continuation of his good intention of the best way to restore the country to its unity, comfort Tanzanians and strengthen democracy in order to eventually restore Tanzania to a normal state of peace, love and solidarity.
Mr. Chalamila has urged the people of Dar es Salaam and Tanzanians in general to follow the meeting that will be held at the Mwl Julius Nyerere International Hall starting at five in the morning and emphasized that the President and Commander-in-Chief intends to unite the Nation and restore peace as it was before.
Mr. Chalamila said that the residents of the city, especially the youth, should continue to participate in the protection of the Region and the Nation in general to maintain peace as the loss of peace, especially in the Region, is setting back all development activities that were benefiting the residents of the city and neighboring regions.
He said that based on the President’s instructions, the Government in the region has continued to ensure that the city returns and restores its essential social services including the high-speed transport service and restores its peace as it was before.
