The Minister of Energy, Mr. Deogratius Ndejembi on November 20, 2025 was officially handed over office by the former Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Energy, Dr. Doto Mashaka Biteko at the Ministry offices located in Mtumba, Dodoma region and thanked Dr. Biteko for his work performance throughout his leadership.
Minister Ndejembi said that during his leadership, the performance in the energy sector has been significantly improved and operational services have been improved and productivity has been seen in the efforts to develop the energy sector.
Minister Ndejembi has promised to continue everything where Dr. Biteko left off to ensure that the government’s ambition and vision to achieve projects by 2030 are achieved.
Dr. Biteko has congratulated Mr. Deogratius Ndejembi for being appointed as the Minister of Energy and assured him of his cooperation at any time in achieving the great vision of His Excellency the President of the United Republic of Tanzania, Dr. Samia Suluhu Hassan in the Energy Sector.
“I learned a lot during my time at the Ministry of Energy but the biggest thing is my prayers for you in the implementation of your daily tasks “ said Biteko.
The Handover Ceremony was attended by the Deputy Minister of Energy, Mrs. Salome Makamba, Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Energy, Engineer Felchesmi Mramba along with senior leaders from the Ministry of Energy.
