President Dr. Samia: Calls on Tanzanians to Continue Praying for Peace

THE PRESIDENT of the United Republic of Tanzania, Dr. Samia Suluhu Hassan continues to urge Tanzanians to continue praying for the Nation so that peace, love, tolerance and solidarity continue to prevail in the country.

The statement was made by the Prime Minister, Dr. Mwigulu Nchemba on November 16, 2025 when he conveyed the greetings of His Excellency President Dr. Samia Suluhu Hassan to the believers and leaders of the Evangelical Lutheran Church of Tanzania (KKKT) Modern Congregation, Dodoma Region.

“Honest President Dr. Samia Suluhu Hassan greets you very much. He is with you and his advice to all Tanzanians is to continue praying for our Nation to be calm and pray for peace to continue to prevail”, he said.

The Prime Minister said it is the responsibility of every Tanzanian to ensure that the peace of the country continues to be protected and promoted because without peace, the Nation will not be able to carry out its responsibilities including conducting worship and other social activities.

“Without peace we cannot carry out any other duties, without peace we cannot conduct worship. Therefore it is the duty of every Tanzanian to pray for our country. With peace we can carry out what is in our expectations, we can even solve what we consider difficult”, he said

The service was led by the Bishop of the KKKT Diocese of Dodoma, Dr. Christian Ndossa who used the opportunity to emphasize that Tanzanians should live by putting God first and have hope in Him and avoid evil.

Dr. Mwigulu was accompanied by his wife, Mama Neema Mwigulu Nchemba, in the service.

Other leaders who attended the service included the Deputy Speaker of Parliament, Mr. Daniel Sillo, Kilolo Member of Parliament, Mrs. Ritha Kabati, Simanjiro Member of Parliament, Mr. James Ole Millya, Special Seats Member of Parliament, Ambassador Dr. Pindi Chana, Itigi Member of Parliament, Mr. Yohana Msita and Kalenga Member of Parliament, Mr. Jackson Kiswaga.
